Facts on File - Enhanced Search Features
• Improved Optional Date-range Searching: Users can now set date limits for their searches with just a "From" year filled in; empty pull-downs will be filled in automatically.
• Expanded Hit Highlighting: Search query terms are now highlighted on entries retrieved from the News Services Cross-Search.
• Additional Sorting Options for Results: Many search results pages now have additional sorting options. For example, on the World News Digest Analysis and Background tab, users can now sort the entire results list by type, by clicking the word "Type" that appears in the upper-right-hand corner of the search results.

Global Issues in Context enhancements
The most significant enhancements to Global Issues in Context include:

The Country Finder feature has been renamed World Map and now offers an even greater number of options to explore global issues geographically, including the ability to browse by topic and zoom into regional and local-level results. This enhances the map's existing ability to browse by country and region.

Changes to OCLC and MLNC
As OCLC and MLNC continue to work in partnership on behalf of OCLC member libraries, we would like to inform you about some important changes with regard to how your library will access support for OCLC products and services.
Beginning July 1, 2009, OCLC members will contact OCLC Customer Support for all questions related to support for OCLC products and services.
OCLC’s teams of support professionals are available 14 hours a day, Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Central Time to assist you with your needs. These dedicated individuals will provide answers and information to help your library maximize the value of your membership and use of OCLC products and services.
In addition to product support specialists, the OCLC Customer Support organization is also comprised of a specialized team of librarians focused on providing consultative and workflow support tied to the use and satisfaction of OCLC products and services.
MLNC will provide billing and ordering assistance to your library for OCLC products and services as well as keep you up-to-date on OCLC news, service enhancements, new products, research, membership reports, and other important benefits of your OCLC membership.
