Blog Away -- Newly Designed Catalog

The Task Force for the “newly designed catalog” is asking that you enter questions/ideas/problems/comments about the new catalog. When entering “glitches” please include the name of the browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) being used as that sometimes can make a big difference.

It looks like there is supposed to be an image in the upper left corner but it is not displaying (Internet Explorer).

I checked Firefox, the logo displays there.

Strange, on my computer the Owens Library logo displays in both IE and Firefox.

I had checked 3 public computers (Internet Explorer) and they were not displaying the image (logo) in the upper left either.

This came up in a Technical Services meeting. Several members commented on the size of the font in the search box. Would it be possible to increase the size some -- so it is more like the font size in the MOBIUS catalog?

Han showed me to disable Ad Blocker to view the logo. I had tried turning off pop-up blocker but didn't know about ad blocker. Thanks Han!

Does anyone know if the ad blocker has been adjusted on the public computers?

(IE)In the catalog page for Journal of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance when you click Check for Full Text it goes to the A-Z Periodical list and the message is "0 records retrieved for the search..." Actually there are records in A-Z for this title including full text links.

Han just told me he fixed the problem with Journal of phyiscal education, etc... The problem was caused by the ampersand. Thanks Han.

Several staff members in TS miss the Featured List. We used it for various reason. Any chance we can include it somewhere?
